Dawe hails office pre-let as ‘exceptional’

City leader Jenny Dawe has welcomed news that a company has signed up to a pre-let of a new office development at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre.

Investment management firm Brewin Dolphin has agreed to a deal to move into the new “Atria Edinburgh” office next to the council-owned EICC when it is completed in June 2013.

The council’s Grade A development is part of the business plan for the extension to the EICC and will help fund the work. The pre-let, in the current market where such deals are hard to secure, has been hailed as “exceptional”.

Councillor Dawe said: “Atria Edinburgh is a key development for the city. To have secured a tenant of this calibre a year ahead of completion is quite exceptional.”
