Dawe backs glazing for listed sites
City chiefs approved plans this month that will bring an end to the ban on double glazing in A and B-listed buildings following a successful pilot.
A new "slim cavity" double glazing will now be allowed in the buildings - as long as they don't still have original, or "crown", windows.

"This is an excellent example of the commitment of the council and our partners to ensuring that we reduce CO2 emissions whilst protecting the special character of our historic buildings."
