Curtain raised on new drama

THE National Theatre of Scotland has announced its 2010 programme.

It includes Caledonia, a play by former spin doctor Alistair Beaton, which draws parallels between recent events in Scottish banking and the Darien disaster.

Also in the programme is Beautiful Burnout, centred on the world of junior boxing. It will debut at the Fringe in Pleasance Four.
