Crews treat blaze victim

A WOMAN has been treated for smoke inhalation after a kitchen fire in Dalkeith.

Fire broke out at the terraced house in Oak Crescent at around 5.30pm last night and was extinguished by 6.50pm.

An ambulance spokesman said: "Our crew treated one female for smoke inhalation, but she refused to travel to hospital."
