Crash woman in hospital

A WOMAN was taken to hospital suffering from shock and a possible head injury after the car she was in collided with a lorry.

The accident happened on the A90 northbound just before the Forth Road Bridge at around 11am yesterday.

Firefighters and paramedics removed the woman, who was about 50 years old, from the car. She was taken to Queen Margaret Hospital in Dunfermline.
