Crash victim in hospital

A MOTORCYCLIST had to be taken to hospital following a collision with a Ford Transit van in Polwarth.

The man - who was riding a Suzuki motorbike - was taken to the city's Royal Infirmary by ambulance, but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

The accident took place at the junction of Gray's Loan and Polwarth Terrace just after 10.30am yesterday morning.

Firefighters washed petrol off the road.
