Craig Whyte appeal on roofing bill refused

A SHERIFF has refused an appeal lodged by Rangers owner Craig Whyte over an £86,127 bill to a roofing firm.

In February this year Whyte was branded “wholly unreliable” and ordered to cough up the cash to One Stop Roofing supplies.

The roofing firm claimed Whyte’s firm Tixway UK had breached an agreement to pay for goods bought by another company, Snowcast UK.

Whyte, 41, disputed this and lodged an appeal on 5 March this year, on behalf of Tixway UK. Sheriff principal Craig Scott yesterday refused the appeal on the grounds nobody appeared to represent Tixway.
