Cracking day out for all at city farm

LITTLE Helena Achkason gets into the spirit of Easter with an egg and a box of paints at Edinburgh's Gorgie City Farm as a hen looks on.

The four-year-old was among many youngsters who took up the farm's invitation yesterday to celebrate Easter Day by collecting freshly-laid hens' eggs, decorating them and then racing them down the hill.

The farm is also showing off its new chicks, the first of which was born last Wednesday.
