Crack cocaine worth £150k found in raid

Around 1.5 kilogrammes of crack was recovered along with almost 12,000 in cash following the swoop on an address in Warrender Park Crescent at around 5.15pm on Thursday.

Two men have been arrested and charged under the Misuse of Drugs Act.

A 21-year-old man is scheduled to appear in court at a later date while a 48-year-old man is set to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Tuesday.

A police spokesman said: "This is yet another significant recovery for Lothian and Borders Police and we are once again grateful for the intelligence that assists us in removing drugs from our communities.

"Anyone who wishes to report drug-related criminal activity in their area should contact police immediately."
