Course helps new performers market themselves

A course aimed at preparing performing artists with a completed portfolio has been launched by the Performing Arts Studio Scotland (PASS), based at Telford College.

The four-week course will train candidates to market themselves to agents and will involve writing targeted CVs and creating portfolios of headshots and showreels.

PASS performing arts leader, Chris Kidd said: "Pursuing a career in the performing arts can be extremely competitive so we work meticulously to ensure our learners develop not only the skills to meet the industry's needs, but also the techniques required to excel through the audition process."
