Couple treated after flat blaze

AN ELDERLY man and a woman were taken to hospital following a serious fire in a flat in Musselburgh.

The man, thought to be in his 70s, and the woman, whose age is unknown, were treated for smoke inhalation. Fire crews were called to the flat in Stoneybank Place at around 4.10am today.
