Couple robbed in street

A COUPLE were robbed by three men who attacked them behind a shop and stole a handbag.

The victims were walking behind the Shop 'n' Save off East Main Street in Whitburn, West Lothian when the thieves struck.

They were assaulted and the suspects took a bag containing personal effects. The suspects made off through Drysdale Avenue following the incident at around 9:50pm on 4 February.
