Couple killed in A75 car crash named

A RETIRED teacher and his wife were today identified as the victims of a fatal crash near Dumfries at the weekend.

The couple, Steven Machell and Joan Lyness-Machell, both 63, of Lancaster, died in a collision on the A75 on Saturday morning.
