Council raises contact times

RESIDENTS in Midlothian are being given help to get in touch with their council, after the opening hours of its contact centre were increased.

Members of the public can now speak to a member of staff at the council's contact centre from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday on an expanded range of council services.

Council leader Derek Milligan said: "This is the first step in the council implementing a range of improvements for our customers."
