Council mucks in to help with compost giveaway

FREE bags of compost made from residents' recycled garden waste are being given away by the city council.

The first giveaway takes place at 3pm tomorrow at Fox Covert Primary School, Clerwood Terrace, marking the return of the council's fortnightly garden waste collections. The first 150 takers will receive a free bag of compost, along with a new or replacement garden waste bin.

Advisors will also be on hand to provide information about recycling services offered by the council, including tips on composting.
