Council counter closes

THE PUBLIC counter at the council's Chesser House building has now closed.

Starting from this month, council tax, non-domestic rates or sundry bills can be paid either in person at 249 High Street, local area offices, Post Offices and Paypoints, by post or through direct debits.

They can also be paid online by going to www.edinburgh.gov.uk
