Corstorphine Road closed as man trapped after crash

CORSTORPHINE Road has been closed after a collision between two vehicles left one man trapped.

Police closed the major thoroughfare while firefighters rescued a man trapped in the wreckage of one of the vehicles.

The incident took place around 1.10pm near to the junction of Kaimes Road please outside Barnado's, the fire service said.

The casualty was treated at the scene for neck injuries by the ambulance service before being taken to hospital.
