Coptic homes burn over dating rumour

Muslims set fire to at least ten homes belonging to Coptic Christians in a village in southern Egypt over rumours that a Christian boy had an affair with a Muslim girl.

Al-Nawahid in Qena, 290 miles south of Cairo, was sealed off and several people arrested.
