Conservation trust moves all 38 staff to new Leith office

THE national conservation trust has moved out of its long-term Edinburgh home after securing a new converted office in Leith.

The Scottish Wildlife Trust, which had been based at Cramond House since 1991, moved all 38 of its staff to a former bonded warehouse at 110 Commercial Street after agreeing a ten-year lease with office owner Gregor Properties.

The trust enlisted the expertise of Edinburgh-based Space Solutions to design and refurbish its new offices at Harbourside House after it impressed during a two-month consultation process.

Space Solutions then developed the 4730 square feet of office space in six weeks to complete the project on time and within budget.

Catherine Douglas, human resource manager at the Scottish Wildlife Trust, said: “Space Solutions was appointed the daunting task of relocating 38 staff from premises that had been ‘home’ for 20 years.”
