Con attacked prison guards

Jonathan Kelly, 30, then threw the empty bucket at a second officer and whipped him with an electricity cable.

Officials took no chances when Kelly appeared at Livingston Sheriff Court yesterday.

The accused man was flanked by four guards wearing full riot gear, in addition to the usual two Reliance officers.

Sheriff Peter Gillam sentenced Kelly to serve an additional four months in prison at the end of his current five-year sentence.
