Complaint in Sheridan case

A COMPLAINT was set to be lodged by Gail Sheridan today about alleged anti-Catholic treatment of her by Lothian and Borders Police during the perjury investigation into her and her husband.

Aamer Anwar, who represents Tommy and Gail Sheridan, said he had written to the Chief Constable about officers taking away Mrs Sheridan's rosary beads during an interview.

Mr Anwar confirmed he had also written to the Lord Advocate, Elish Angiolini, over claims she was mistreated by police during the inquiry.
