Hide AdA spokeswoman said: "We want as many items as possible to raise much needed money for our special children.
"We'll be having our toy appeal too but some children need specialised toys and equipment so it's important that we raise money as well."
Inspectors have praised a city school which provides education for children with learning difficulties and additional support needs.
City school praised by inspectors
HMIE inspectors said particular strengths of Redhall School include friendly, confident children who enjoy their learning, the relationships among staff and children and the quality of experience in physical education. They also praised the leadership of the headteacher.
Pupils ring the changes by breaking record

Hide AdPUPILS at Liberton High School have made history after breaking a world record by ringing their bicycle bells.
The pupils joined around 1,000 children from schools across Scotland in the Guinness World Record-breaking challenge.
Pupils rang their bicycle bells to the tune of the Blue Danube for two minutes and 50 seconds in order to break the previous world record.
Art teacher Trevor Bryant, who runs the bike club at Liberton High, said: "It was crazy to organise but good fun."
Autistic creations to go on show

Hide AdCREATIVE work by people with autism and related conditions will be on display at a one-day conference organised by the Scottish Autism Research Group. Experts will gather at Edinburgh University's Playfair Library on October 30, to discuss the most recent research in the field.
Open day for future students
Prospective students are being invited to visit Queen Margaret University.
The university will be hosting the open day on October 9 when staff will be conducting tours and providing the opportunity to meet academics and find out about courses, accommodation and student life.
