Comic Craig to boost appeal

PERFORMERS including top comedian Craig Hill are holding a cabaret night to raise funds for the Haiti appeal.

The show will be held on 7 February at the Traverse Theatre and will include comedy, live music, dancing and auctions.

Actor Johnny McKnight will host the evening, which is organised by Mercy Corps. The show runs from 7pm to 11pm, with a recommended entry fee of 10/15.

Meanwhile customers at Zest, on North St Andrew Street, also played their part in fundraising for survivors of the disaster on Wednesday night as they made donations for their evening meals instead of paying a set price, raising a total of 610 for the cause.
