Comedy star Emo added to Amnesty gig

Emo will be performing special material at the gig that even audiences at his sell-out Pleasance show are not able to see. The event takes place at the EICC tomorrow.

Rapper-turned-comedian Doc Brown has also been added to the line-up which includes John Bishop, Mark Watson, Josie Long, 2009 award-winner Tim Key, Dan Antopolski and Danielle Ward.

Emo Philips said: "I'm always happy to do what I can to help political prisoners."

This year's Stand up For Amnesty International's Programme Director in Scotland, John Watson, said: "Adding Emo Philips and Doc Brown to the line-up for Stand Up For Freedom just makes it even stronger."
