Comedians get obsessive

Comedians David Kelly and Gemma Leader are to examine compulsive behaviour in their Fringe show this year.

Obsession, which will be staged at The Canons' Gait on the Royal Mile, follows the success of the pair's 2009 Fringe show, Afternoon Tea.

The stand-up show examines why people are happy to be stupid for the things they love and is pledged by the performers to feature a "profound lack of anything that could be considered 'cool'". It is part of the PBH Free Fringe. This year the Free Fringe features more than 3400 free performances of over 200 shows, on 22 stages.

Obsession runs from August 7 to 29 (except 17) at 3:40pm.
