Comedians aim to play their cards right

THEY are not renowned for their poker faces, but a group of Fringe comics are going to have to keep their faces straight if they've got any chance of winning a PokerStars tournament.

Comedians Lucy Porter, Ed Byrne, Hardeep Singh Kohli and comedy foursome Idiots of Ants are all taking part in the PokerStars.com UK and Ireland Poker tour, which is coming to the Edinburgh Corn Exchange tomorrow.

The event is open to the public, with a 50 buy in, and each comedian will have a 100 bounty placed on their heads, which will go to the player who knocks them out. Kohli is hosting nightly Fringe chat show while Idiots of Ants have a show called The Red Button.
