Comedian Robert Schimmel dies from accident injuries
US COMEDIAN Robert Schimmel, 60, has died from injuries he suffered in an accident in Arizona.

He was a passenger in his 19-year-old daughter's car on 26 August when she lost control after swerving to avoid another accident on a Phoenix highway. The stand-up comic had appeared on several HBO programmes, including his own special, Unprotected.
