Coltrane set to join Slab Boys reunion

HARRY Potter star Robbie Coltrane will join the original cast of John Byrne's The Slab Boys for an evening of discussion about the play and its legacy on Tuesday.

The event, at The Traverse Theatre, will see some members of the crew and cast come together for the first time in many years.

The trilogy premiered at The Traverse in 1978 and is regarded as one of Scotland's most influential pieces of theatre.

John Byrne said, "I haven't seen David (Hayman], who directed the original production in a long time. It'll be lovely to see him and look back."
