College to run skills course to help excluded

A FREE skills course is being run at Newbattle Abbey College.

The course is being offered in conjunction with Access to Industry, which supports excluded people to move into education and employment.

The Rural Skills course, which starts in April, is a free seven-week, part-time course, running two days a week.

Students will carry out practical tasks in the college gardens and estate.
