College guest is a cut above

HOLLYWOOD hairdresser Diva Poulos took time out of her busy schedule styling top stars to meet students from West Lothian College.

The hairstylist, whose clients include Paris Hilton, stars of Desperate Housewives and the casts of Broadway musicals, visited the college's Platinum Salon and Spa and met three lucky students.

The stylist discussed her rise to fame and her current work.

Claire Glen, head of the creative centre and hairdressing lecturer at the college, said: "This opportunity was certainly one the students didn't want to miss and was really worth their time."
