College film on Oscar list

THE Scottish Documentary Institute – which is part of Edinburgh College of Art – has been shortlisted for an Oscar for its film, The Perfect Fit.

Directed by Tali Yankelevich, who is an ECA graduate, the film was created through the annual Bridging the Gap scheme, one of the leading documentary new talent initiatives for cinema in the UK,

Official nominations will be announced next January by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
