College is in festive spirit

MEMBERS of the public are being invited to get into the Christmas spirit at an event at Newbattle Abbey College.

In the building's historic drawing room, guests will be able to enjoy a programme of seasonal music, poetry, readings and dance.

Christmas craft stalls, jewellery, Santa's Grotto, local produce and mulled wine will be on offer in the crypt.

The Christmas at Newbattle Abbey event will run from 11am-4pm on December 4.
