Colleagues plan race tribute

THE colleagues of a man who died in a motorbike crash last year are to take part in a 10km race in his memory.

James Marlow died in November, and 13 of his workmates from ION Concept Systems are to take part in the race as part of the Edinburgh Marathon Festival on May 21. They will raise money for national road safety charity Brake.

Runner Nicola Moriarty said: "We asked James' parents to nominate a charity for us to support and they chose Brake."

The charity's fundraising manager, Katie Shephard, added: "The money raised will help us to spread life-saving road safety messages and to offer support to those bereaved or injured by a road crash."
