Colin Firth king of the UK box office

Colin Firth film The King's Speech has topped the UK box office. The movie, in which he stars as stammering King George VI, took £3.5 million during its opening weekend.

Firth, 50, has been tipped for an Oscar nomination for his role in the film, which also features Helena Bonham Carter.
