Clubber has jaw smashed

A TEENAGE clubber suffered a broken jaw after allegedly being attacked by a man in a city nightspot.

The 19-year-old man was in the Liquid Room in Victoria Street when the incident occurred between 1am and 1.15am on Sunday morning.

A 20-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident, and was released on undertaking to appear at court at a later date.

A police spokesman said: "There would have been a number of people in the area at the time of this incident and we are asking anyone who saw what happened to come forward."
