Club pockets pool table

THE Rotary Club of Dalkeith has presented a children’s charity with a new pool table for its Dalkeith service in Hardengreen.

Children 1st supports vulnerable children, young people and their families from its Dalkeith base.

Family support worker, Linda Hunter, said: “Our old pool table was damaged and some of the children we work with started a campaign to replace the table, and that is when we appealed for some help.

“Dalkeith Rotary was very keen to support Children 1st and visited the base so they could appreciate the value and importance of replacing the much-loved pool table.”
