Climate event feels the heat

A FIRE-EATER is to form part of celebrations to mark Earth Hour at a hotel in the Capital.

The Sheraton Grand Hotel and Spa will switch off its lights for one hour at 8.30pm on March 26 to mark the global climate change awareness event.

Its three restaurants will only be lit by candles, while an Earth Hour logo will be created outside on Festival Square using candles.

A fire artist will put on a show of fire-eating, juggling, dancing and acrobatics, with free kiwi and melon smoothies being handed out to guests.
