City support for Kast Off Kinks

AN Edinburgh-based band will support the Kast Off Kinks at a gig in the Capital tonight.

The Kast Off Kinks, which feature drummer Mick Avory from the original Kinks band and Jim Rodford, who was bass player with The Kinks from 1978 until the mid-90s when Ray Davies went solo, will be supported by The Set Up.

The Set Up formed in the city eight years ago and the band have frequently played at the Bongo Club, The Liquid Room, and Cabaret Voltaire.

They will perform at The Caves on Niddry Street South at around 8pm, before the Kast Off Kinks take to the stage.
