City strips Hitler of citizenship

THE city of Klagenfurt has joined other Austrian towns that have stripped Adolf Hitler of honorary citizenship.

The municipal council voted yesterday to revoke the honour accorded to the fhrer 73 years ago. Austrian towns that have recently done the same include Braunau, his birthplace.
