City pupils think far ahead for EICC time capsule project

LOCAL pupils have buried a time capsule containing messages for the next generation.

Pupils from Tollcross Primary marked the culmination of a special project with the burial of the time capsule at the site of the expanded Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC), currently close to the school.

The project has involved pupils considering what their world may be like in 2061, when the lead time capsule will be re-opened, and what they think will be important to school pupils at that time. Their musings include photographs and images of the local area, examples of school work and messages to themselves in the future.
