City pupil’s design scores

A SCHOOLBOY has been shortlisted as a runner-up in a football strip design competition.

Daniel Roulston, who is in P7 at Midlothian’s St Luke’s RC Primary School, entered the competition as part of a class project. He was named as one of just 30 runners-up from more than 2000 entries across Scotland.

Daniel’s colourful football strip design featured sketches inspired by snakes, tigers and leopards. He was recently invited to Hampden Park for an award ceremony, and to see his football strip design displayed in the stadium gallery.
