Corstorphine Hill Local Nature Reserve is one of thirteen parks in Edinburgh to collect an honour under the Green Flag Award Scheme.

The Friends of Corstorphine Hill and Corstorphine Hill Community Walled Garden also achieved the Green Pennant Award for the second year in succession.

Councillor Robert Aldridge, the city's environmental chief, said: "We are very proud to be able to raise the Green Flag at this park. I congratulate all those actively involved in looking after this natural heritage site."
