City domestic violence plea

A CITY-wide policy on domestic violence should be drawn up by council chiefs, it was claimed today.

Labour councillor Angela Blacklock says that the policy should be drawn up following consultation with the wider community of Edinburgh and city council employees.

Cllr Blacklock's motion is due to be heard at a meeting of the council's health, housing and social care committee on Tuesday.
