AWARD-WINNING Scottish composer Jim Sutherland and renowned Edinburgh harpist Phamie Gow are among the artists set to take part in an Edinburgh concert to raise funds for the victims of the earthquake in Chile.

The event, called "A Cry Out for Chile", is set to take place on Saturday in St John's Church, Princes Street.

As well as Sutherland and Gow, artists signed up include Carlos Arredondo, Felipe Bustos, Eddie McGuire, Martin Aelred, Tom Coyopa, Stuart Mitchell, Stuart Eydmann and the Norman Mackay ceilidh band.

All donations from the event, partly organised by the Edinburgh International Faith Association, will go to the Chilean Red Cross and Victor Jara Foundation.
