Christie Brinkley show hit by mother's illness

SUPERMODEL Christie Brinkley has had to delay her West End starring role in stage hit Chicago after her mother was admitted to hospital for emergency surgery.

She had been due to head to the UK to reprise her Broadway role in the musical, but her mother Marge was taken into hospital on the eve of her departure from the US.
