Children's law centre sees struggle ahead

SCOTLAND'S only law centre dedicated to children is also set to lose all of its £2,130 council funding. The Scottish Child Law Centre at East Crosscauseway runs a freephone service that deals with 3000 calls a year from children, carers and professionals.

Morag Driscoll, director at the SLC, said: "We are a tiny organisation with a very small budget of around 150,000. Our worry is that people see lawyers and think we have lots of money but we don't have here."
