Children sell own toys for Poppy Appeal

A TRIO of kind-hearted pupils from Royal Mile Primary School have been selling their own toys to raise funds for the Poppy Appeal.

Gary Turner, 11, Louise Turner, seven, and ten-year-old Safia Kelly set up a stand in the Canongate where they have been selling their goods after school to passing members of the public.

The pupils, who came up with the idea themselves, have previously raised money for Children in Need and the Tsunami Appeal.
