Children rescued in flat fire drama

Four adults and two children have been rescued by more than 20 firefighters after a blaze broke out in a block of flats.

The fire in the six-storey block in Perth, yesterday morning, is understood to have started in a ground floor cupboard.

A further ten adults and seven children had to evacuate the building.

Five adults and one child were treated by paramedics at the scene, but no-one was taken to hospital.
