Children hurt in inflatable slide accident in Cupar
SEVERAL people are believed to be injured after an inflatable slide at Cupar Children’s Gala in Fife was blown away by high winds.
The giant inflatable was torn from the ground and somersaulted around 100 metres across Duffus Park where the event was being held, eyewitnesses said.
A number of children fell to the ground, with reports some suffered head and neck injuries. None are believed to be life threatening.
The emergency services were called to the event and administered treatement at the site.
The gala organisers cancelled the remainder of the event.
