Charity marks 20 years with Sick Kids do

YOUNG patients have been treated at a joint birthday party celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Sick Kids Friends Foundation and a branch of Marks & Spencer.

Staff members from the Gyle store spent time playing with children, and also provided party food – including a cake – before handing over a £200 donation to the Sick Kids
hospital.

Aaron Spicer, store manager, said: “We were delighted to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Sick Kids Friends Foundation by hosting a party with some of the children who are receiving care at the hospital.

“It is great to be able to celebrate this joint milestone with a party for some of the kids. The Sick Kids Friends Foundation does an invaluable job of supporting the hospital and its patients and families, and we were honoured to be able to throw a party for them and make a donation to help contribute to their fantastic work.”
